Performers Rise to the Occasion
Keeping the beat with George Thorogood
The limo was ready and so was Fatty, Crash, T Diehl, JoeyG, and of courseLenny and Dukey. They arrived early and landed right up front at the Hollywood Palladium leaning on the center stage. The band played for a while.
Then the real show began. George handed Fatty his guitar in mid-song. Fatty strummed it not having any clue how to play. It may as well have been a tuba. JoeG and Caaamady jumped on the stage as George grabbed his guitar back. The two idiots played air guitar to the left and right of George. Everything was fine until others start climbing on stage. It started getting wild.
Caaamady marched over to the drummer. After a two-second tug-of-war he ripped the drum stick out of his hand and guzzled his water. Security started moving people off the stage as JoeyG and Caaamady hid by rolling themselves up in the curtain. After everything wound down the two dopes emerged again and played one more air guitar song with George ... with his permission.
After the show the fantastic six left in their rented limo. As they were crossing the sidewalk exiting the parking lot, they saw a young couple. T Diehl opened his door, shoved the pedestrian and pulled the laughing woman into the vehicle. After a hundred yards they gave her a free beer and dropped her off still laughing.
