Although it looks like Ol’ Tom couldn’t hold a job. He just chose, quite often, to go where the grass was greener, and sometimes not so green, the opportunities larger, the experiences richer. After all, Psalm 50:10-12: God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and that's a lot o' hills and a lot of jobs getting there. In a very real sense, Tom was the job. He knew what he could do and knew how to do it. He took himself, his job, where he could acquire for himself and his family the most benefit. His career, which is still forming, is himself and his work for The Lord.
