We see them as written outside our time domain and pertaining to all things seen and unseen, and profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Before I (Tom) received the Jab for the dose of the Ghost, I thought I was a lock to go to heaven, being such a nice guy, and then I read the scariest verse in scripture. Matthew 7:23 “And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me.’” Ouch! Just how small is this gate?
Mathew 7:13-14 - “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” This would be very unfair requirement, except for the fact that God tells us exactly how to find that narrow gate. He tells us exactly what it looks like, where it is, and how to find the key. He doesn’t hide it. To find it, call upon Jesus, God the Son, and he’ll not only lead you to it, but unlock it for you, open it, and usher your through. If you don’t like these rules and this arrangement, start your own universe. Write your own book. Tom says this in prison all the time.
