Bo and Johnny Cactus

One time the obnoxious golfers put together a golf weekend in Phoenix with about 16 guys. The day went relatively normal until they hit the 19th hole. Things began to be loud and out of hand so they decided to take the party back to the hotel. Upon arrival Bo decided to do his running through the jungle Platoon movie routine through the garden around the pool. The only problem with that, is the geographical area they were in was Phoenix. Most of the trees and flowers were surrounded by cactus. When Bo finally came out the other end and bellied up to the bar he was completely covered in cactus and in a lot of pain. The boys were pulling large chunks out of his face head and arms etc. When they got back to the room later the front desk gave them some tweezers to try and get the rest but most of it did not come out until it grew out a month later. The moral of the story is to hire a cactus stunt man next time.

Another time Duke and his mom and dad took Johnny Motlet out to golf in Palm Springs where they were staying in their timeshare. At about the 13th or 14th hole Duke and his dad were playing great golf and we’re going at it. Johnny wasn’t far behind and he had hit one in the right rough close to a cactus. duke and his dad said he could take a free club length away from the cactus but Johnny. refused. Big mistake! When he swung ,one large spike of cactus went right through his thumb nail. Johnny was the type of golfer that didn’t play well unless he was drinking large amounts of alcohol. At first it didn’t look like it was a major problem as he was trying to pull it out but after Duke tried to push it through with the flat part of a tee they all knew it was a major ordeal because it didn’t budge at all. Since Duke and dad were playing a tight match they had mom drive him back to the clubhouse and of course straight to the hospital. Mom was not happy and created a lot of havoc in the emergency room. That wound never really did heal. It probably would’ve been a better idea to take a free club length drop.
